Mack's Hangar
January 11 - Flying is an education… one that never stops. Unlike
driving a car, almost every flight is an educational experience. If is
it isn’t, it should be. If it isn’t, a pilot must have become
complacence. It is possible that complacency can kill. MORE...
Don't Pull The Red Knob
January 10 - Due to a variety of reasons, I have not been out to the
airport in a while. It seems that sometimes stuff somehow just sneaks up
on you and gets in the way of flying. An 8-5 job, family activities,
lawn work and lots of other stuff else can limit my precious time to

Air
Mail
(or Letters to the
Editor)
January 5 - Yep, we get letters, mostly e-mail. The story on auto
fuel in the December issue brought out the wrath of those that use auto
fuel. We were called "rednecks" and more. You would have thought we
said his mother wore Army boots from the response one read gave. It was
unsigned, therefore, I chuckled and preformed the magic DELETE on it...
We will have a follow up story on auto fuel in the February issue. I
may start carrying a 45 pistol to work if the letters get more violent
(smile). To give you an idea of a couple of the "Point" /
"Counterpoint" letters go to
