Cover Story

February 1 - Every so often a photo, a story, comes along and it begs to be printed.  Especially if the month, the story, the plane are all February.  I was discussing aviation with a friend in Colorado and as a result he shared this story with photos.  The cover photo is by Warren Parkes who was killed in a aviation photo shoot some years ago.  His wife gave permission to use the outstanding photo on this issue.  Denis Godfrey of Montrose (CO) shared his ride in "February", a P-51 owned by Chris Woods.  For the entire story, go HERE...

Unusual Photo

January 28 - We've all seen Photoshop doctored photos of interesting subjects.  This website explains that the photo is authentic.  I don't know, but if it is, it is most interesting.  I'll let you judge.  Here is the page for the photo

January 13 - The Midwest Aviation Conference & Trade Show will be held on January 19th , 20th and 21st in the Busch Student Center on the St Louis University Campus. Winter Flying
