Moriarty Airport To Add New Runway

June 15 - Steve Hill, Chairman of Moriarty’s Airport Advisory Board has announced that Moriarty (NM) Municipal Airport has begun extensive planning to add a new 6,200 foot, north-south, crosswind runway.  The new runway, with the existing east-west runway, will make it safer to land under frequent crosswind conditions. The runway is part of an improvement and expansion project that began in 1990.
