February 28 – *** A Thursday Event *** Hollister, MO – 7:00 PM Aviation Safety Seminar in conjunction with Ozarks Chapter Missouri Pilots meeting. Location: Ozarks Auto Show 134 Industrial Park Dr. Hollister, MO 65672 This is Mark Trimble’s Auto museum and storehouse for many of his other collections. A pot luck dinner begins at 6:00. Bring a “pass around dish” and join us or just come for the seminar. Seminar Topic: Jack Reynolds: Flight To Africa – A Lesson in Flight Planning – Lessons in Planning from an International Flight. This seminar is good for 1 Wings Advanced knowledge credit. March 2 – Ponca City, OK – Ponca City Regional Airport (KPNC) First Saturday breakfast. 7:00 – 10:00 AM Fantastic food; very well attended long running event. Suggested $6.00 donation (and well worth it). Sponsored by PNC airport booster club the first Saturday of every month rain or shine.

March 2 – Ketchum, OK – South Grand Lake Regional Airport (1K8)“Fly-in Breakfast”. “Pancake Buffett” $7. Arrowhead Yacht Club 8:00 to 10:00 am. Transportation from & to airport. Participate in Welcome Back Weekend;  “Land or Water Poker Run” 10:00 am, and “Buccaneer Ball” 6:30 pm. March 5 ** A Tuesday Event – Joplin, Mo – Joplin Regional Airport (KJLN) 6:30 PM Safety Seminar at Mizzou Aviation. March 8 ** 2nd Friday Event – Joplin, Mo – Joplin Regional Airport (KJLN) 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Join Alpha Air Center and Twisted Wrench Aviation as they host their monthly ‘Lunch in the Hangar with Alpha Air’. March 16 – Excelsior Springs, MO Excelsior Springs Airport (3EX), 7:00- 10:00 Pancake Breakfast sponsored by the Northwest Missouri Chapter of the Antique Airplane Association! Pancakes, sausage, coffee and juice will all be served in the main hangar. March 30 – Claremore, OK – Claremore Regional Airport (KGCM) Fly-in lunch 11am-1pm last Saturday of each month. Normally menu is hamburgers and hotdogs and occasionally hot links or brats. Donations requested to keep the monthly fly-in supported.  Everybody is welcome, fly in or drive. The only time we cancel is when the weather is too bad to drive in or if it falls on a holiday. Call the airport for more info 918-343-0931.

April 20 – Cookson, OK – Tenkiller Airpark (44M) – 24th  Annual Wild Onions ‘N Eggs Fly-in Breakfast 7:30-10:30AM. Fuel available on the field (cash or check – no credit cards). This is a long running event; it attracts Warbirds classics, and just about any type aircraft that flies. The location is a grass strip in very good condition right on the shore of Tenkiller Lake. On field overnight camping is available. The food is always good and reasonably priced I have never gone away hungry. (The wild onions are optional.)
