PARENTS
PROTECT YOUR CHILDREN
It all started so simple... One
reader asked about a swimsuit issue and another one sends
in the first picture (see page 17). We hope that the
two-piece bikini is not found offensive to parents with
small children. We suggest you not leave the magazine
laying on your cocktail table for children to accidentally
view. We will allow people to tear out the page with the
bikini clad model to post on the office wall. Fly-Low
assumes no responsibility for the effect the picture might
have on children or mild mannered adults. We do
appreciate Larry Gene Rothrock from Pine Bluff (AR) for
sending in the picture.
Now, how many of your pilots out
there have a beautiful lady that often wears a bikini and
enjoys you photographing her? Catch her at her most
seductive moment and snap that shot – send it to us via
e-mail for our soon to be printed Fly-Low Publication’s
Swimsuit issue & perhaps calendar. Please keep the
pictures clean. See the picture below of our first entry
to the swimsuit issue.
SNOWBIRD FLIGHT
One of the best perks of my job, as
publisher of Fly-Low, is the people with whom I
associate. Having worked at several jobs since I was
twelve, the people that I now meet along the path within
the year are super. The story about the Snowbirds in this
issue makes one wonder why anyone would leave their home
and family for six months at a time and travel the air
show circuit. There was no mistaking the professionalism
of the Snowbird pilots, but as several of them joked at
the dinner table that divorces were a common occurrence
with some of them, due to the absence of the team from
their spouses. One technician was on his third marriage.
Therefore, absence doesn’t always make the heart grow
fonder.
Given all the problems, the Snowbird
team was a pleasure to associate. The same goes for all
the people that we call on at airports and aircraft
related businesses. In four years of publishing FLY-LOW,
I have only had a couple of grouches that I came in
contact. That’s pretty darn good I would say, therefore,
here is a tip of the hat salute to the aviation community
from FLY-LOW.
FOUR MORE
YEARS
Sounds like political verbiage,
doesn’t it? It’s not. This month FLY-LOW produces the
forty-eighth issue. With the March issue, we begin our
fifth year. How do we celebrate it? Don’t know… Just
keep on typing and selling, I suppose. Whatever you do,
don’t stop reading FLY-LOW or sending in those precious
photos of your lady. With the sense of humor our readers
have it makes a bad day – a good day. Thanks Larry
Rothrock for a good laugh. Anyone else got any good
ideas… ???
